PatrolGuard Operations

What this package is

You bill a client for guarding their site, and you learn a patrol round was missed the same way they do: at the end of the month, from a complaint. Some companies end up paying a second person just to check that the first one is walking.

This package is the patrol side: one site, with as many checkpoints as you want to put up. Guards open it on the phone already in their pocket and scan a QR tag at each point. No app store download, no dedicated hardware to buy. The manager screen shows every checkpoint live in green, amber and red, with a countdown per point, a missed round alerts the supervisor's phone the minute it happens, and the day closes with a report shaped like the paper form your client already knows.

The scope, said plainly: this is the patrol system only. Shift scheduling is not included, vehicle access is not included, and the price covers one site to start, with extra sites at a fixed per-site rate quoted in writing before you pay. If you want patrol and scheduling together, the Complete package holds both systems and costs less than buying the two single packages separately.

See it working

Scan a checkpoint QR on the phone screen on the left and watch the manager board on the right update at once. Use the time button to see what happens when a round is missed.

This is the real system with every button working. The data inside is sample data and nothing is saved. Refresh to start over.Open full screen in a new tab

Everything you get

This list is the entire scope of the package. Nothing is hidden in a contract.

Not included in this package
  • Hosting and a domain, roughly $15–30 a year, paid directly to the provider in your own name. I set them up in your accounts on day one, which is what makes the system genuinely yours.
  • Sites beyond the first. Every package starts with one site. Each additional site is $190, or $165 each when you open ten or more at the same time, quoted and agreed before any work begins.
  • Vehicle gate control. There are three ways to do it and the price follows the one you pick, so it is never folded into a package price. See the pricing question below.
  • The Android app that keeps working with no signal, $1,650. The same screens and the same buttons, so nobody has to learn the job twice.
  • Monthly care, $169 a month, entirely optional. Nothing stops working if you never take it.
  • Phones and printing. Guards use the phones they already carry, and the QR labels print on your own printer or at any print shop.
  • A registered company on my side. I trade in Thailand under a registered commercial name as a sole trader, not a limited company, and the contract is with me personally.

What I need from you before starting

Only the questions I genuinely cannot start without. Everything else we sort out once work begins. If one is not settled yet, put down what you know today.

How the work runs

1

Click the demo before you talk to me

The demo on this page is open and free. Walk a round, watch a checkpoint go amber, then open the roster and try to create a clash on purpose. No form, no call.

2

Pick the system that hurts today

If your rounds are already tight but the roster is chaos, take Shift. If it is the other way round, take Patrol. If both, Complete costs less than the two apart. Prices are fixed, so there is no quote to wait for.

3

Choose how you pay, then I start

Pay in full and take 3% off, or split it 50/50 and settle the rest once you have checked the working system. Either way you watch it come together rather than seeing it only at the end. Send me your checkpoint list and guard names and the build starts the same week.

4

Handover in your name

Code and hosting sit in your accounts from day one. One training session for your supervisors with a recording they can replay, the full documents, and support after delivery.

How to reach you

Questions about this package

Why not just buy off-the-shelf software

You can, if your operation matches the way it was designed. Guarding companies usually hit three walls. It charges monthly per head, so winning a contract raises your costs forever. It expects guards to install an app or carry a special device. And the report is its report, not the form your client has read for ten years. What I build is paid once, the system and the data are yours, there is no compulsory monthly fee, and the daily report follows your existing form.

Do the guards need to buy new phones

No. It runs in the browser on the phone they already carry. No app store, no install, no patrol wand or reader to buy. An old Android with a working camera scans fine. The whole method is: open the link, point the camera at the QR tag, done. On handover I train on site across every shift rather than emailing a manual.

Does the system track where a guard is all shift

No, and that is deliberate. It records only the moment of a scan: who, which point, what time. In between, it neither knows nor stores where anyone is. The blunt reason is that guards who feel followed all shift will find a way around it, and then you own beautiful data that means nothing. What you have to prove to your client is that your people reached the points on time, and a scan at the point proves exactly that.

Can I buy this now and add the scheduling system later

Yes. It is added later at a fixed add-on price, not a fresh quote, and once it is in, the two systems talk to each other exactly as they do in Complete. Said straight: adding later costs more overall than buying Complete from the start, so if you already know you want both, Complete is the cheaper door. I tell you that before you pay, not after.

What happens at checkpoints with no mobile signal

The browser needs signal at the moment of the scan. The usual dead spots are basements, plant rooms and thick-walled warehouses. If it is only a few points, the common fix is moving the tag to the entrance of that area, which still proves the visit. If the whole site is a dead zone, there is an Android app that works with no signal, holding scans on the device and sending them once signal returns. It is a separate add-on, and every button looks the same, so guards learn nothing new.
