EditBusiness website
What this package is
Edit is the version you can edit yourself, with nobody to call and nothing to wait for.
What really changes is how fast things get updated. A business with monthly offers, or new work every week, will quietly stop updating if every change means asking someone. Then the site slowly becomes abandoned.
It also covers a bilingual site for businesses with foreign customers: one button to switch, and both languages edited from the same back office.
See it working
Type in the left-hand fields. The page on the right changes as you type. This is what you can do yourself, any day, without calling anyone. This package also adds a news page you write yourself, and the Thai/English switch you can see on the sample site.
This is the real site running, not a screenshot. Use the menu inside and walk it the way your customers would.
Everything you get
This list is the entire scope of the package. Nothing is hidden in a contract.
- Everything in Found
- A back office where you change the words and pictures yourself, with nobody to call and nothing to wait for
- A news or article page you can keep adding to
- Thai and English, switched with one button
- A header image designed around your brand
- A second training session for the back office, with a manual you can reopen later
- Writing your content from scratch and photographing your products. If you already have material, I will arrange it and tidy the wording, but the source has to come from you.
- Domain registration and hosting fees. Those go to the provider, not to me, and a domain is usually around $15 to $25 a year. Both are covered if you take the monthly care plan.
- Member logins, payments, or an internal dashboard. Those sit in the web app service, not here.
- Logo design. I can set your business name in type so the site looks right without one, but a real logo is a job for a designer. It is not my strength and I do not take that work.
- Any guarantee of a Google position. I build the structure correctly and keep the site fast, but nobody can promise a ranking.
Questions about this package
Is the back office hard to use?
It is built to feel like editing a note. Tap the words you want to change, type over them, save. Images are dragged in. I run a separate training session with a manual you can reopen, and for the first 30 days you can ask as much as you like.
Can I break the site by editing it?
Not by changing words and pictures, because the back office only opens up content, never the page structure. It also keeps the previous version, so anything can be rolled back if you do not like it.
Do you translate it as well?
I build the bilingual system and translate the main pages to start. Anything you add later you put in both languages from the same back office. If you want the whole site professionally translated, that is charged separately and I tell you the price first.
How is this different from using WordPress?
You get the same ability to edit, without plugins to update every month and without the way in that WordPress sites keep getting broken into. It loads far faster, and the back office holds only the buttons you actually use rather than thirty menus nobody can tell apart.
If we stop working with you, does the site survive?
Yes. The code and the hosting are in your own account from day one, with documentation another developer can pick up. I do not lock clients in by holding their things.
