What this package is

Pages is about having an address on the internet that belongs to you, instead of only a page on somebody else's platform.

The three pages are home, services and contact, which answer the first three questions anyone asks: what do you do, what exactly can you do, and how do I reach you.

It suits a business that has never had a site before and wants somewhere to send people, instead of explaining the same things in chat every time.

Not included in this package

Writing your content from scratch and photographing your products. If you already have material, I will arrange it and tidy the wording, but the source has to come from you.
Domain registration and hosting fees. Those go to the provider, not to me, and a domain is usually around $15 to $25 a year. Both are covered if you take the monthly care plan.
Member logins, payments, or an internal dashboard. Those sit in the web app service, not here.
Logo design. I can set your business name in type so the site looks right without one, but a real logo is a job for a designer. It is not my strength and I do not take that work.
Any guarantee of a Google position. I build the structure correctly and keep the site fast, but nobody can promise a ranking.

No brief or spec needed. Explain it the way you would explain it to a friend: what you sell, who buys it, what you want a visitor to do.

You get the full scope in writing

Within 1 to 2 business days I send one document in English with the scope, the price, and every yearly cost listed once, with the contract attached. Nothing gets added later.

You see the real homepage before you approve

I build the homepage first with your actual content. You ask for changes until it looks right, and only then do I build the rest.

Launch and handover

Domain connected, site live, source code and English documentation handed to you, then 60 days of fixes.

Paying and getting started

Questions about this package

We already have a Facebook page. Do we need a site too?

They do different jobs. A page works when people already follow you, but somebody who has just heard of you searches first. A page is also space you rent: if it gets restricted or closed there is nothing you can do. A site is in your name and nobody can switch it off.

Is three pages enough?

It is enough to start, because those three pages answer the first three questions anyway. If you have a body of work you want people to see before deciding, that is Found, which adds a portfolio page and an FAQ.

We have no good photos at all. Can we still do this?

Yes. Phone photos work if they are taken in daylight and show the real thing. I clean up the light and the cropping. For pages with nothing to show I design around type and space rather than padding it out with stock photos that look fake.

Can I edit the words myself later?

Not in this package. For the first 30 days I make changes at no charge, and after that it is charged by the job. If you know you will be changing things often, monthly offers for example, the Edit package includes a back office and works out cheaper over time.

Can I move up a package later?

Yes. You pay the difference on the day, with nothing restarted, because it is all built on the same foundation from the start.
